I liked this stone face carved into an archway and I wanted to blend it with a suitable background.

This abstact is a detail of the matted hair of a very wet donkey, at the time I took this it was trying to eat my camera bag!

I wanted a more abstract background so I played around with the abstract and produced several different designs and textures. This is the one I liked most, it has a very gothic feel, I could imagine it part of a William Blake design. I will probably use this design again sometime for another picture.

I blended this with the stone face and made Ugluk, a rather rough looking character, but with a kindly face.
