Kaleidoscopic pictures are great fun to make and the resulting images have fascinating designs. This series started with the first picture, which was created when five seedheads were arranged in a circle on a flatbed scanner. In Photoshop this picture was copied and pasted onto a new layer which was rotated a few degrees and reduced in opacity. This process was repeated a great many times to create the soft feathery spiral which is picture No 2. The kaleidoscope pictures were all created from this image.
